<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique enabling simple and reliable construction of a smooth transport path for a record medium when combining a printer with a detachably attachable additional process device.SOLUTION: A printer 1 for printing on a continuous sheet record medium S and an additional process device 8 that is detachably attachable to the printer 1 and applies a given additional process to the record medium S drawn from the printer 1 are included. Further, the additional process device 8 includes: roller members 801-806 for circularly supporting the record medium S; a support part 80 for rotatably supporting the roller members 801-806 and connecting to a connection section disposed in the printer 1 at points in two different positions in a direction parallel to rotation axes of the roller members; and a set of height adjustment mechanisms 86, 87, disposed with two mutually different positions in a direction parallel to the rotation axes of the roller members, capable of respectively supporting the support part 80, and capable of mutually independently adjusting a position of the support part 80 in its orthogonal direction.</p> |
