The projection part is configured to project a projection image on a projection surface. The photograph part is configured to photograph a photographing area contained in the projection surface. The detection part is configured to detect an instruction operation by a user with respect to a photographing image on the basis of the photographing image photographed by the photograph part. The instruction object information storage part is configured to store instruction object information about an instruction object serving as a target of an instruction and contained in the projection surface. The determination part is configured to determine presence/absence of the instruction object unable to be contained in the photographing area on the basis of the instruction object information stored by the instruction object information storage part. When it is determined by the determination part that the instruction object unable to be contained in the photographing area is present, the request part is configured to request other projection devices to photograph.
