<p>The present invention relates to a silencer to reduce a noise generated when a firearm, such as a gun or a cannon, fires and, more specifically, relates to a silencer installed in the firearm which includes: a silencer body installed in the firearm reducing a high pressure generated during firing; and an auxiliary silencer which further lowers a pressure generated on the silencer body, wherein the silencer is made of a composite material including a metal, a nonmetal, or a high strength carbon fiber such that mobility and endurance are improved. The silencer body is connected to a rear side of a connection chamber connected to a gunpoint. A silencer chamber, which discharges compressed air generated while firing a bullet, is connected to the connection chamber. The silencer further includes a connection pipe which serves as a moving path for the compressed air to discharge the air into the silencer chamber, and an exhaust pipe to discharge the compressed air to the outside. Also, the silencer also includes a pressure adjustment unit formed on a predetermined position of the silencer body, and maintains an inner pressure of the silencer to prevent damages to the silencer. Also, the auxiliary silencer includes a plurality of partitions and a chamber, and further decreases the pressure generated in the silencer body such that the compressed air is slowly discharged to the outside to reduce noise.</p> |
