<p>The device has conducting sleeves (5, 5') stacked around denuded parts of two butted superconducting cables, respectively, and a single conducting tube (6) containing the sleeves, where the tube permits mechanical connection with the sleeves. A semi-conductor layer is made of carbon black paper and placed between the connection and an external covering, where the covering is made of insulating material. The sleeve (5) includes electrical contact units constituted by grooves (5F) that are machined in an external wall of a part of the sleeve (5), and receive metallic contact plates.</p> |
