<p>The present invention relates to a centrifugal pump wherein a motor (60) is disposed on an upper portion of a pump casing (50) including an impeller (55), a main shaft (65) is rotated by the motor (60), the impeller (55) is mounted on a lower end of the main shaft (65) to be rotated by the rotation of the main shaft (65), a discharge pipe (70) of the pump casing (50) is connected to a vertical drain pipe (80) through an elbow pipe (75), a check valve (85) is mounted on the drain pipe (80), and water sucked in an inlet (51) of the pump casing (50) is discharged outside through the discharge pipe (70) and the drain pipe (80) by rotation of the impeller (55). A hole (71) is perforated on the discharge pipe (70); an opening/closing cover (100) is mounted on a circumference of the hole (71) to be disposed inside the discharge pipe (70); one end of the opening/closing cover (100) is attached toward the impeller (55) from the circumference of the hole (71); and the other end of the opening/closing cover (100) is not attached.</p> |
