A customized contact lens having at least two fiducial marks positioned relative to the corneal limbal center of the lens wherein said marks are lens rotation and centration measurement marks and are provided in a manner number and location on such lens such that lens rotation and centration is determinable with sufficient precision to correct high order aberrations.
