[Problem] To provide a design information provision device that can, for a user, streamline the design of assembly components of a desired specification and disseminate technical knowledge useful in the design of the assembly components. [Solution] A design information provision server (1) is provided with the following: a first web page transmission unit (8) that sends to a terminal (3) the data of a web page on which a plurality of assembly components are displayed; a second web page transmission unit (10) that, with respect to the terminal (3), sends the data of information such as design considerations for a selected assembly component; and a file transmission unit (12) that, in response to a file request from the terminal (3), sends to the terminal (3) file data for a selected individual component, including assembly components for a default specification and the individual components thereof, and individual components for assembly components that are not the default specification. |
