This handle heating device has: a heating wire (103); a power line connected in series to the heating wire (103), for supplying power to the heating wire (103); a GND line; a lead line (104) connected at midpoint to the wiring pattern constituting the heating wire (103); and a contact detection circuit (106) electrically connected to the wiring pattern through the lead line (104). A portion of the wiring pattern is connected in series between the GND line and the contact detection circuit (106).
