A vaginal insertion member (5) is a medical tool inserted into a vagina (1400). The vaginal insertion member (5) as the medical tool has: a top surface (511a) resulting in a contacting surface that contacts a vaginal wall forming the vagina (1400); at least one suction hole (59) that causes suction of the vaginal wall to the top surface (511a) side in the state of the top surface (511a) being contacted to the vaginal wall; and an inhibition unit (13) that inhibits the vaginal wall from reaching the suction hole (59). As a result, it is possible to reliably prevent a decrease in suction force in the state of the vaginal insertion method being inserted into the vagina (1400).
