<p>The purpose of the invention is to provide a method that makes it possible to suppress the advance of a de-CO reaction when reacting a fluorine-containing alkoxypropanoic acid ester and sulfuric acid, and a mixture obtained by this method. This trifluoropyruvic acid ester derivative mixture is obtained by reacting a fluorine-containing alkoxypropanoic acid ester represented by general formula (1), sulfuric acid, and alcohol, the trifluoropyruvic acid ester derivative mixture comprising a hydrate of a trifluoropyruvic acid ester represented by general formula (2) and a hemiketal of a trifluoropyruvic acid ester represented by general formula (3). In general formulas (1), (2), and (3), R1-R3 are each independently alkyl groups having 1-6 carbon atoms.</p> |
