<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel technology for generating an image for observation suitable for observation and diagnosis of a subject, from an original image obtained by photographing the subject, by image processing.SOLUTION: An image generation device generating an image for observation from an original image obtained by photographing a subject includes: viewpoint image generation means of generating a plurality of viewpoint images with different viewpoint directions, by using the original image; and observation image generation means of generating an image for observation in which scattered light components contained in the original image are extracted or highlighted, by using the plurality of viewpoint images. For example, the image for observation is generated by extracting or highlighting the difference between the plurality of viewpoint images.</p> |
