The present invention relates to the field of Linux software release, in particular to a method for releasing a large Linux software package. The present invention comprises the steps of: installing a minimal linux system; obtaining installation logs and setting a cache for locally downloaded rpm; setting up an environment for iso production and creating some working directories; testing the environment dependence of developed software and installing the software in a manner of rpm package, copying the downloaded rpm package in the cache to the working directories and conducting registration; installing tools createrepo and mkisofs for compact disk production; writing a boot file for automatic installation of a ks.cfg system; generating and altering a copms.xml file to determine which rpm packages need to be installed in the software library of the system as well as the dependency relationship of the rpm packages; generating the iso file of gcloud, and checking MD5 value. The present invention addresses the problems, such as version verification and high tendency to be affected by network, during large Linux software package release, and can be applied to releasing a large Linux software package. |
