an insulative lead body extending from a distal region to a proximal region; a conductor disposed within the insulative lead body and extending from the proximal region to the distal region; an electrode disposed on the insulative lead body and in electrical contact with the conductor; and a non-conductive fibrous matrix comprising polytetrafluoroethylene disposed at least partially over the electrode, the fibrous matrix having an average fiber diameter between 40 nanometers and 800 nanometers, and an average thickness between about 2.54 microns and about 254 microns. |
