A service method and system for providing a service using a user activity is disclosed. A service method implemented with a computer may include: receiving location information from a user terminal when a mode set by a user is a movement mode; measuring, based on the location information, a path through which the user moves and the amount of exercise which the user does; calculating the amount of activity of the user based on the path and the amount of exercise; and providing digital content selected based on the amount of activity of the user to the user.
