<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus for recording broadcast in an IPTV and a method thereof are provided to freely use the storage space of a personal computer as the storage space of a TV by transmitting data through a network environment. CONSTITUTION: A storage unit(20) stores certain broadcast data among received broadcasting data of a receiving unit(10), and a storage event is generated for certain broadcasting data. According to the comparison of a residual storage space with the capacity of broadcasting data to be stored, a control unit(30) secures a storage space of the broadcasting data to be stored through the external transmission of the stored broadcasting data. A data transmission unit(40) transmits the stored broadcasting data to the outside.</p> |
