Disclosed are a resin composition for laser engraving, comprising (Component A) a resin that is a plastomer at 20°C and contains no ethylenically unsaturated group, and (Component B) a crosslinking agent, a relief printing plate precursor for laser engraving and a process for producing the same using the resin composition, and a relief printing plate and a process for making the same using the resin composition.
