<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing paper for newspaper, capable of improving printing characteristics by improving a filler-fixing property among pulp fibers, reducing cost by improving the yield of the filler and improving the operation efficiency of a machine by reducing paper powder omission. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the paper for the newspaper having a raw material slurry preparation step and a papermaking step of papermaking the paper for the newspaper by using raw material slurry obtained in the raw material slurry preparation step is characterized in that the raw material slurry preparation step has (1) a filler-adding step of adding the filler to pulp slurry containing raw material pulp and (2) a flocculant-adding step of adding the flocculant to the pulp slurry after the filler-adding step, the filler contains regenerated particles obtained by using papermaking sludge as a main raw material, and in the flocculant-adding step, the flocculant (A) and flocculant (B) having a smaller cationic electric charge density and also having a higher weight-average molecular weight than those of the coagulant (A) are added in this order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
