Disclosed are a surface mounted temperature fuse and an installing method thereof. In the surface mounted temperature fuse and the installing method thereof according to the embodiment of the present invention, prepared is the surface mounted temperature fuse which includes a pin part to be fixed in a pin hole formed on a PCB, an elastic part which is extended from the pin part and is bent, and a conductive part which is extended from the elastic part and is electrically conducted with a circuit of the PCB. The conductive part is fixed to a load terminal and a power terminal of the PCB by soldering. The pin part is fixed to correspond to the location of the pin hole. The pin part is inserted into the pin hole by dropping a press which includes a stepped elastic pressing terminal and a conductive pressing terminal and elasticity is applied to the elastic part by pressing the conductive part at the same time.
