<p>A composition consisting of a pigment mixed with an alkylated polymer of an N-vinyl heterocyclic monomer. The pigment composition is used to colour oleoresinous coating compositions. The compositions disperse uniformly in the coating compositions, giving strong colours; are not hygroscopic, are resistant to moisture, and do not exude from the coating compositions have good covering power. The polymers are prepared by alkylating a (co) polymer of an N-vinyl heterocyclic monomer by means of a C2-2000, preferably C2-200, particularly C8-442, alphe-olefin.</p> |
