<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for attenuating an explosive shock wave in a nuclear power plant. The apparatus for attenuating the explosive shock wave in the nuclear power plant according to the present invention includes a melt sensing unit which is installed in a reactor cavity and the lower outer wall of a reactor vessel and senses the movement of the core melt, a hydrogen sensing unit which is formed in a reactor container and senses the hydrogen concentration of the atmosphere in the reactor container, a gas injecting unit which supplies a gas to cooling water collected in the reactor cavity, a wet fog spraying unit which sprays a gas-liquid mixing fluid to the atmosphere of the reactor container, and a control unit which controls the operations of the wet fog spraying unit and the gas injecting unit according to a sensing signal which is sensed from the melt sensing unit and the hydrogen sensing unit.</p> |
