The invention relates to a single-layer coating for a facade that comprises at least one silane having at least one alkoxy function. The invention also relates to the production of this coating, and to the use thereof for improving its hydrophobia and limiting alterations on facades such as colour differentiations (carbonation, bleaching, cracking, differentiated drying), soils of biological, mineral or organic origins, and/or the proliferation of plant formations.
