Disclosed is a system to thermally decompose and detoxify a waste refrigerant which can endure high temperatures, prevent corrosion due to a concentrated hydrogen fluoride gas, and improve combustion efficiency. According to the present invention, the system to thermally decompose and detoxify a waste refrigerant comprises: an air-cooled combustor (10) which includes a combustion furnace (11) having an internal space to process a waste refrigerant; a supply chamber (12) formed on one side of the internal space of the combustion furnace (11), having a burner (16) installed therein; and a combustion chamber (20) formed in the middle area of the internal space of the combustion furnace (11), receiving combustion air required for combustion wherein an inlet pipe (21) to discharge the combustion gas is installed in the combustion chamber (20) in a tangential direction of the inner surface of the combustion furnace (11) to enable the combustion gas to be supplied while turning along the inner surface of the combustion furnace (11), thereby improving combustion efficiency. |
