mixing a NOx reduction fluid with combustion products within a regenerative thermal pyrolysis reactor downstream of a combustion mixing zone, wherein the NOx reduction fluid reacts with NOx contained in the combustion products to reduce the amount of NOx in the combustion products; and monitoring the composition of the combustion products downstream of the regenerative thermal pyrolysis reactor; and adjusting the flow rate of the NOx reduction fluid to the regenerative thermal pyrolysis reactor based on the monitored composition. |
