A photo is received from a mobile device. The photo is stored at an intermediary server. The photo is formatted at the intermediary server for at least one content provider website. The content includes at least a photo. The intermediary server determines if the photo is new. If the photo is new, the intermediary server determines if the photo is properly formatted for the mobile device client program and sends the content including the photo to a user device including the client program.

1. A method for uploading a photo, comprising:
receiving, at an intermediary server a photo from a mobile device; caching, the photo at the intermediary server for a predetermined time period; determining, at the intermediary server whether the photo meets respective photo requirements set by at least one social networking website; formatting, at the intermediary server, the photo according to respective photo requirements set by the at least one social networking website; and transmitting, the formatted photo to the at least one social networking website; extending, the predetermined time period each time the photo is uploaded to a different social networking website; and deleting, the photo at the intermediary server, at the end of the predetermined time period.
