<p>Engagement spring (70) is placed inside mobile magnetic core (30). Spring has its front axial end resting on shoulder surface (56), and its rear axial end resting on bearing surface (68). Spring has non-linear elastic stiffness (R). Stiffness increases with travel of magnetic core towards fixed magnetic core (28). When mobile core is traveling towards mobile contact rod (32), stiffness has first value (R1) lower than standard stiffness (R). When mobile core gets in contact with mobile contact rod, stiffness has second value (R2) larger than standard stiffness.</p> |
