<p>The present invention relates to a cooling apparatus and a segment for a continuous casting machine having the same. The cooling apparatus includes an upper frame and a lower frame which are spaced apart from each other in a vertical direction; a plurality of rollers each provided on the upper and lower frames and disposed in a width direction of a strand; a cooling water spraying part provided with at least one nozzle for spraying cooling water onto the strand; and a driving part provided on the upper frame and having a wire connected to the cooling water spraying part. The cooling apparatus is provided on the upper frame at left and right sides of the roller to effectively cool the strand according to the width variation of the strand during the continuous casting.</p> |
