<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel phenol resin having a plurality of reactive functional groups in the molecule, and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: A gallic acid-formaldehyde addition condensation product is a compound obtained by reacting gallic acid with formaldehyde or paraformaldehyde in the presence of acid. Examples of the acid include: inorganic acid such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid, and boric acid; organic acid such as carboxylic acid including oxalic acid and acetic acid, and sulfonic acid including methanesulfonic acid, ethanesulfonic acid, trifluoromethanesulfonic acid, benzenesulfonic acid, p-toluenesulfonic acid, and naphthalenesulfonic acid.</p> |
