PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to continue service for transmitting/receiving communication data between local terminals, even when abnormality is detected at a control unit of a communication control device for performing communication control of the local terminal.SOLUTION: A communication control device according to an embodiment comprises a control unit, a communication unit, and a path control unit. The control unit generates a communication control instruction for instructing communication control between a first terminal and a second terminal connected to the first terminal through a network, on the basis of control data received from the first terminal; and transmits the communication control instruction to an external communication control device for performing communication control of the second terminal. The communication unit can transmit communication data received from the first terminal to the external communication control device, when communication between the first and second terminals is enabled. When abnormality of the control unit is detected, the path control unit makes the communication unit transfer the control data and communication data to a predetermined fault countermeasure device capable of transmitting the communication control instruction and communication date to the external communication control device. |
