PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact electric connector maintaining an array pitch of a connection section to a circuit board at a predetermined value.SOLUTION: The electric connector includes a housing and a plurality of contacts supported by the housing. The plurality of contacts has a contact section arrayed in two columns at a fitting section to an opposite connector, and a connection section, to be connected to a circuit board on which the electric connector is mounted, arrayed in one column. Each of the plurality of contacts includes at least one pair of differential signal contacts and a ground contact that faces the pair of differential signal contacts at the fitting section. Each signal contact constituting the pair of differential signal contacts includes one contact section and one connection section. A ground contact 30A includes: two contact sections 311, 312 respectively corresponding to two contact sections 21A, 21B of the pair of the differential signal contacts and separately disposed through a slit 37; and one connection section 313. |
