<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore a backup at a remote site by constructing a backup environment without design information and knowledge about a storage.SOLUTION: In a system where data in a storage at a main site is backed up and is restored in a storage at a remote site, configuration information of the storage at the main site is copied to the storage at the remote site, and the configuration of the storage at the remote site is compared with the copied configuration information to determine lacking disks in the configuration of the storage at the remote site.</p> |
