PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for using information required for improving convenience with communication data while an increase of the communication data is suppressed.SOLUTION: A communication system transmits and receives a communication message M between a plurality of ECUs 10 and 20. The ECU 10 for receiving the communication message M includes: an information processing section 14 for processing received data; a vehicle state detection section 12 for detecting a vehicle state; and an attribute storage section 13 for storing an attribute. An identification code corresponding to "CAN ID" of the communication message M, a state code determined in accordance with the vehicle state, and the attribute determined in accordance with the combination of the identification code and the state code are stored in the attribute storage section 13. The information processing section 14 acquires the attribute corresponding to the combination of the identification code corresponding to "CAN ID" of the received communication message M and the state code corresponding to the detected vehicle state from the attributes stored in the attribute storage section 13. |
