<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination drive circuit of a vehicle instrument capable of performing prompt return processing when returning to a normal state after detecting an abnormal state.SOLUTION: An illumination drive circuit of a vehicle instrument comprises: display means 1; illumination means 2; control means 3 which generates a control signal to prompt a display of vehicle information and outputs a control signal to control the display means 1 or the illumination means 2; a power source circuit 41 which generates predetermined voltage with a battery power source mounted on a vehicle and outputs the voltage to a load having the illumination means 2; detection means 43 which determines abnormality in the output voltage from the power source circuit 41; and a drive circuit 42 which can drive the power source circuit 41 in a manner that switches between a start-up and a stoppage thereof, outputs a stop signal to stop the power source circuit 41 when abnormality is determined and outputs an abnormality signal to the control means 3. After receiving input of the abnormality signal, the control means 3 outputs a start-up signal, to the drive circuit 42, to prompt the power source circuit 41 to be returned.</p> |
