<p>PURPOSE: A positioning device and a method of a terminal in which a satellite navigation equipment module is included are provided to obtain TTFF reduction and high accuracy by using QoS parameter. CONSTITUTION: A positioning device and a method of a terminal comprises: a step of obtaining the location information from a GPS signal received from inside of boundary GPS satellites of a QoS parametric value(207) when a navigation menu is selected, set a QoS(Quality of Service) parametric value to infinity(205); a step of deciding location based on the obtained location information(209); a step of resetting the QoS parametric value to a first QoS parametric value smaller than the infinity(213) when the previously decided location is involved in the first QoS parametric value boundary based on the current location; and a step of keeping the QoS parametric value when the previously decided location is not involved in the first QoS parametric value boundary based on the current location.</p> |
