<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently cause Lorentz force to function on arc discharge without a large-sized magnetic member.SOLUTION: A vehicle-side connector 10 to be connected to a cable extending from a battery loaded on a vehicle includes: a vehicle-side housing 11 having a vehicle-side terminal accommodation section 12 to which a charging connector 60 connected to a charger is fit from the front; a pair of vehicle-side terminals 30 disposed in juxtaposition in the vehicle-side terminal accommodation section 12 and having connection section bodies 31A to which a pair of charger-side terminals 70 disposed on the charging connector 60 is connected; and a pair of magnetic members 50 causing the magnetic flux density of an inner region S1 positioned between the pair of vehicle-side terminals 30, to be greater than the magnetic flux density of an outer region S2. On the front ends of the pair of magnetic members 50, front end magnetic pole faces 51F, 52F are provided. The front end magnetic pole faces 51F, 52F are disposed slightly backward of the front ends of the connection section bodies 31A.</p> |
