The present invention relates to a light emitting device package capable of inducing light emitted from a light emitting device in a lateral direction, a backlight unit, a lighting device, and a method for manufacturing the light emitting device package. The light emitting device package includes the light emitting device and a light induction member which is installed on the upper side of the light emitting device to induce the light in the lateral direction of the light emitting device. The height of the light induction member becomes lower toward a part corresponding to the upper center of the light emitting device and becomes higher toward a part corresponding to the upper edge of the light emitting device.
