PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an easy occurrence of a fraud of fraudulently passing through a gate in a bicycle rental system.SOLUTION: The bicycle rental system includes: an inside gate that regulates or permits passage of a bicycle between a bicycle passage and a bicycle storage space; an outside gate that regulates or permits passage of a bicycle between the bicycle passage and the outside of the bicycle storage space; a user information input part that is disposed between the inside gate and the outside gate and receives an input of information for identifying a user; an IC chip reading part that is disposed between the inside gate and the outside gate and reads information for identifying a bicycle from an IC chip mounted on the bicycle passing through the bicycle passage; and a control part that receives an input of information for identifying a user via the user information input part and performs bicycle lending processing by reading information for identifying a bicycle by the IC chip reading part. |
