PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan unit capable of smoothly blowing air discharged from a centrifugal fan having rearward blades from an air outlet, while suppressing an increase in the number of components and an increase of draft resistance, and to provide an air conditioner.SOLUTION: A fan unit 1A includes a fan case 2A having an air inlet 71 and an air outlet 9, and having a unit connection part 41 for connecting a heat exchange unit 1B to the side part on the side of the air inlet 71, a partition member 3 having an opening 13 that partitions the fan case 2A into an upstream side space 16 on the side of the air inlet 71 and a downstream side space 12 on the side of the air outlet 9 while communicating the upstream side space 16 with the downstream side space 12, and a centrifugal fan 5 having an impeller 21 having a plurality of rearward blades 25, the impeller 21 being located in the downstream side space 12 and arranged to suck air from the upstream side space 16 through the opening 13. The air outlet 9 is located in the downstream side space 12 radially outside the impeller 21. |
