<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time when on/off control is executed twice or more on a switching element configuring a signal switcher.SOLUTION: A measurement device comprises a power supply unit 5, a current detection unit 6, a voltage measurement unit 7, a signal switcher 4, a surge absorber 8 having a surge absorption element 8a and a make-break switch 8b, and a processing unit 9. The processing unit 9 executes a switching process for controlling the on/off state of switching elements 21-23, connects a resistor 11 to the power supply unit 5, the current detection unit 6, and the voltage measurement unit 7, and acquires current data Di of a measurement current I flowing in the resistor 11 and voltage data Dv of a voltage V across the resistor 11, thereafter measuring a resistance value R of the resistor 11 from the data Di and Dv. The processing unit 9 also executes control for placing the make-break switch 8b from an off state into an on state at any point of time in a period from when the acquisition of the data Di or Dv is completed until when the power supply unit 5 has stopped output of the measurement current I, and connects the surge absorption element 8a between first terminals 24a and 24b.</p> |
