The present invention relates to a method for providing information to diagnose pancreatic cancer by analyzing the level of a complement factor I protein as a biomarker for diagnosing pancreatic cancer in an individual sample, and to a composition for diagnosing pancreatic cancer comprising polypeptide or an antibody specifically bound to the complement factor I protein. According to the present invention, the composition for diagnosing pancreatic cancer comprising polypeptide or the antibody specifically bound to the complement factor I protein can analyze an expression ratio of the complement factor I protein in plasma and can diagnose pancreatic cancer at an early stage.
