The capacitive touch display apparatus comprises a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, and a common electrode layer. The second substrate is disposed opposite to the first substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The common electrode layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The common electrode layer comprises multiple electrode units disposed in a matrix arrangement manner. Each electrode unit comprises a first toothed electrode and second toothed electrode disposed opposite to each other. The first toothed electrodes and the second toothed electrodes are used as touch sensing electrodes in a touch sensing phase and are used as common electrodes in a display phase. The present invention also provides another capacitive touch display apparatus. The another capacitive touch display apparatus comprises a common electrode layer disposed between a first substrate and a second substrate. The common electrode layer comprises multiple electrodes disposed in a one-dimensional matrix arrangement manner. The multiple electrodes are used as touch sensing electrodes in a sensing phase and are used as common electrodes in a display phase. The present invention can reduce the thickness and the weight of the capacitive touch display apparatus.</p>
