PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device enabling feeding of a sheet in an appropriate manner even in a case where a sheet having a different thickness in the direction orthogonal to a feeding direction is fed, and an image forming apparatus equipped with the same.SOLUTION: A swing base 301 provided at sheet support means swingably supports a lower stream side swing plate 302 and an upper stream side swing plate 303 (sheet stacking board) on which a sheet can be stacked, with a swing axis 308 that is parallel to a sheet feeding direction by a feeding roller as a center. The lower stream side swing plate 302 and the upper stream side swing plate 303 swing in a manner such that an upper surface of a top sheet stacked on the lower stream side swing plate 302 and the upper stream side swing plate 303 follows a roller surface of the feeding roller. |
