<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing apparatus using a cylindrical fixing member, configured to stably rotate the cylindrical fixing member at a high speed without causing buckling or damage to an axial end.SOLUTION: A fixing apparatus forms a fixing nip part between a pressure roller and a fixing sleeve 31 which rotates in contact with an unfixed toner image, and includes heating means for heating the fixing sleeve 31. A sheet-like recording material with the unfixed toner image carried thereon passes through the fixing nip part for fixation. A skew stopper member 39 protruding outward from an outer peripheral surface of the fixing sleeve 31 is provided in each of both ends 31a, 31b in a rotation axis L direction of the fixing sleeve 31. A stopper member 43 is provided for preventing skew of the fixing sleeve 31 in the rotation axis L direction in a stretched state by externally hooking the skew members 39 on a flange member 15 which supports at least both ends of the fixing sleeve 31 in a rotatable manner.</p> |
