The present invention relates to a pin-pad and a security method thereof. The pin-pad according to the present invention comprises: a keypad module which has a plurality of buttons; a main substrate in which an encryption circuit for encrypting a key signal input from the keypad module is arranged; a first flexible circuit substrate which is arranged to protect the upper portion of the main substrate; a second flexible circuit substrate which is arranged to surround the side surface of the main substrate; a double cover arranged to block an approach to a circuit arranged in the main substrate; and an information blocking circuit unit which removes information stored therein to block leakage of the information to the outside when short-circuiting or disconnection of an electronic circuit is detected in at least one among the main substrate and the first and second flexible circuit substrates. According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent leakage of information remaining in the memory, by removing the information stored in the internal memory in the case of decomposition or cutting. |
