PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet relay device capable of maintaining flow search performance without deteriorating it even when the number of functions for which flow search is required is increased.SOLUTION: A packet relay device includes: a packet reception part; a switch; a packet transmission part; an associative memory; and a packet search part. The packet search part has an action register for holding information for specifying an action to be executed, and holds address range information in which the continuous address range of the associative memory is associated with the action register, and registers a plurality of flow entries for setting conditions for identifying a flow associated with the same action in a plurality of addresses within the same address range, and inputs the header information of the packet in the associative memory, and determines the action to be executed in accordance with the information read from the action register corresponding to the address range including the address output from the associative memory, and executes the determined action. |
