An abutting portion (24) is provided on each side of an elastic member (22), forming one left-right pair, each being independently capable of elastic deformation, and each biasing two different terminals (30), to maintain a shorted state. When the connector (1) fitted with the shorting terminal mates with a connector housing (40) on the partner side, a short-cancellation member (41) pushes up a cancellation part (25), and the abutting portion (24) becomes separated from the terminal (30), thereby canceling the shorted state. |
