<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance and inspection system of a passenger conveyor in which an operator can accurately recognize an operation direction before starting an operation in the maintenance and inspection of the passenger conveyor.SOLUTION: A maintenance and inspection system of a passenger conveyor includes a switch unit and a control device. The switch unit includes an operation direction instruction switch and an operation start instruction switch for transmitting instructions to the passenger conveyor. When the switch unit is attached to the passenger conveyor and an instruction for a prescribed operation direction is given by the operation direction instruction switch, the control device causes a sound output device to output notification information for notifying of the operation direction, and when the operation start instruction switch is operated to an ON state after the notification information is output, operates the passenger conveyer in the operation direction according to the instruction.</p> |
