<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a temperature sensor, having an improved manufacturing yield, and a temperature sensor having less failure when used.SOLUTION: There is provided the method for manufacturing a temperature sensor including a cylindrical protective cover having a blocked end, a thermosensitive element arranged inside the protective cover and a matrix phase formed in a space between the temperature sensor and the protective cover. The method comprises: (a) a step of arranging the temperature sensor inside the protective cover; (b) a step of fixing inside the blocked end part of the protective cover, a space formation material which does not mix with a filler, decomposes to vaporize, and evaporates or sublimates at a temperature lower than the solidification temperature of the filler; (c) a step of filling the filler into the protective cover; (d) a step of forming a space inside the blocked end part of the protective cover by heating the protective cover; and (e) a step of further heating the filler after the step (d) and solidifying the filler to form a matrix phase.</p> |
