<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking toy for which a four-legged walking toy made to walk and run by moving forelegs and hind legs forward and backward can be made to naturally go straight and change directions by means of a comparatively simple structure.SOLUTION: A walking toy 100 has four operating legs composed of left and right forelegs 161, 171 and left and right hind legs 181, 191. The toy also has a link bar 201 that transmits the actuation of a foreleg to a hind leg. By means of the link bar, when the foreleg actuates forward, a hind leg is actuated backward, with the left and right hind legs swing around fixed swing shafts 127, 129, and with the left and right forelegs make circular motion by the eccentric shafts 237, 243. The eccentric shaft 237 of the left foreleg 161 and the eccentric shaft 243 of the right foreleg 171 are deviated by 180 degrees. The left and right forelegs are provided with swing shaft holes 165, 175 in the upper part from the eccentric shafts. By movable swing shafts 267, 268 that are inserted in the swing shaft holes and made vertically movable, the forelegs are restrained in the movement forward and backward.</p> |
