PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection system capable of accurately acquiring position information, contact pressure, and operation states of switches by using comparatively few switches.SOLUTION: In the position detection system comprising position identification means and a position detection device, the position identification means receives an external signal so as to perform signal transmission in response to the external signal by energy taken from the received external signal. The position detection device generates an excitation signal of which frequency changes to transmit the signal to the position identification means, then receives a response signal transmitted by the position identification means in response to the excitation signal, and, on the basis of the received response signal, acquires position information corresponding to a position identified in the position detection device by the position identification means. |
