PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of determining if a communication between a portable terminal and an image processing apparatus can be established via a network, and when determined that the communication cannot be established, issuing notification of the notification of a print job.SOLUTION: A printing system transmits a print job to an image processing apparatus and specifies a predicted completion time of the print job.
